Project 1: Industrialised Building System
Project 1 is a group project which is related to the topics on Industrialised Building System (IBS). Each group is required to design simple apartment units using IBS construction system. The objective of this project is to expose and engage students in a critical and analytical study of the different IBS construction methods and engage students to assessment of IBS scoring.

Objectives:

To develop students’ understanding in different types of IBS construction method.

To apply appropriate IBS construction method in the design of building.

To demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of IBS construction process through report writing.

To foster good communication skills among group members through proper delegation of works and production of deliverables.
We were to study the IBS system and research on the assigned IBS system. Then, after researching on the IBS system, we were to compile all the information found into an A3 sized report. Lastly, we were to propose a 3-storey high building using the assigned IBS system.
